Silky Baby xx (imp/dec) ··
1978
Bay Thoroughbred Stallion, 16.3hh.
By What A Pleasure xx, dam sire Dark Star xx

Silky
Baby was a wonderful Hanoverian Licensed Thoroughbred stallion. Though
sparingly bred over warmblood mares he has an impressive record as
a sire and a dam-sire with highly successful first and second generation
descendants such as Silkston (FEI Dressage), Kinnordy Serena (Grand
Prix Showjumper) and Kinnordy Goerlitz (Grand Prix Showjumper). From
the impressive Nearco xx line, Silky Baby consistently passed on an
incredibly powerful hindleg which can still be recognised several
generations on. A wonderful sire his descendants are lovely noble
types and have great athleticism.
